With more than 35 independent small batch hand dyers on board, it's like having a small festival or yarn crawl right in your parking lot/ driveway. The truck also has a curated selection of handmade bags, enamel pins, as well as other accessories and notions. All of our yarns are hand-dyed sourced from US and Canadian dyers.
Evie, the Yarn Adventure Truck, is 30 feet long with the back door open and takes up 3 parking spots. We work with you to complement your business and promote your awesomeness! Typically that includes paid advertisement, promotional goodies, and social media hype to bring new fiber artists to your door.
Katy, owner and driver of Yarn Adventure, is a long time knitter and crafter and has taught a variety of classes/workshops for festivals, yarn shops, local fiber groups, and private events. She will be happy to work with you to schedule classes at your event. Check out class offerings here: https://yarnadventuretruck.com/class-listings
We also offer consulting help for your local yarn shop to help your business thrive. Katy and her husband Dean have previously owned a brick and mortar shop, now the Yarn Adventure Truck, and have traveled to nearly 250 local yarn shops across the country. As part of our visit we offer a free consulting session to talk with you about your shop and help you make a plan of action for the future.
As of March 2024, we travel on the Yarn Adventure Truck full-time and are always looking for new places to visit and help you embark on your own fiber journey!
Think we might be a good fit for your LYS events calendar? Contact us at yarnadventuretruck@gmail.com for more information and scheduling options.
