Join us for an introduction to some of our favorite Texas makers!
Bashful Armadillo Fibers -
Hand-Painted Yarns with a Texas Accent.
Bashful Armadillo Fibers creates hand-painted yarns inspired by all things Texas, from our wildflowers to the different state regions to the various attractions across the Lone Star State.
Chaos Fiber Co. - Hand-Dyed Yarns, Project Bags, and More direct to you from Salado, Texas.
Fun and Exciting Hand-Dyed Yarn for your knitting/crocheting/weaving/etc. adventures.
We also have handmade project bags, in multiple sizes, for every need plus much more!
Crafter's Horde - I find my happy place in making things and want to bring a little whimsy and fun to everyone. Sometimes we think that growing up or older means that we have to let go of the fun things of childhood. I say, surround yourself with colorful, useful, and pretty little things that help you expres your creative side.
PS Creative Market (Formerly Doggone Yarn) - Handmade yarn accessories. Stitch markers and project bags made by a mother daughter team. Anne has been knitting for about 15 years and recently taught her mom, Deb the joys of playing with yarn. We try to be as low waste as possible. Most of our bags are made from secondhand fabric.
Savvy Skeins - I am a small batch indie dyer from South Central Texas. All of the yarn you see has been hand dyed two by two with time and love. Each skein is it’s own piece of art. No two batches of colors will be the same. This yarn is dyed with a variety of techniques including speckling, variegated, and tie dyeing. These techniques will give each project a distinct and unique look that quarantees a one of a kind asthetic.
Spinner's End Studio - I’m primarily a fiber artist, and have a background in woodworking and furniture design. I make bags, backpacks and purses in geeky and pop culture themes. Other things I do include spinning wool into yarn for knitters and other fiber artists, as well as knitting hats, shawls and other accessories for my friends who do not enjoy making things themselves. I have a few knit and crochet designs to my credit as well. Oh, and I love to make toys!
