Afterthought Heels for Sock Tubes - $60

Does the thought of knitting a whole pair of socks make you cringe? It takes an average of 36,000 stitches to make a pair of socks so why not take advantage of those cranked sock tube services and then make perfect socks with you in a fraction of the time. Katy will show you how to calculate desired length based on shoe size, pick up stitches, and build afterthought heels for a pair of socks in a fraction of the time a fully hand knit pair would take. There will be advice and recipes for toes too!!! What used to take 24+ hours to make now takes 8 hours or less! The class kit includes hand cranked sock tubes for 4 socks ( 2 whole pairs!!) and a pre wound matching mini in hand dyed yarn as well as 5 removable stitch markers. Bring your own needles (US 1.5 ish) and a positive attitude and we'll have a great time!

Sometimes we just need a little help planning, starting, or fixing a sweater project. This class is designed to help you do just that! We can talk yarn choice, pattern options (or find the right pattern for you!), pattern execution, or fixing something that isn't working for you. Seats are limited in this workshop so you can get the individual help you are looking for. Bring your ideas, yarn, or WIP and we'll make that sweater work for you!
